Social media is a tool that provides leads. (read “9 Irresistible Opt-In Gift Ideas to Build Your List“) Then it’s your job to nurture these leads so that they can get to know, like and trust you, and there is no better way than via email.
Regardless of where you are in list building efforts: you might be thinking, “How do I build my email fast!”

Here are 3 Quick Ways to Build Your List – in 90 days or less!
- Host a virtual summit:
These are typically video interviews of experts on a given topic or theme. Viewers opt-in to watch which gets them on your list. Some people say summits are dead, but this is NOT true either. A virtual summit done right, is priceless.
Your #1 goal should be to provide value, not build your list. The expert guests also promote the summit, which gives you more visibility and credibility. This is how I began my successful divorce coaching business back in 2010. - Host a giveaway:
This is when you ask experts to provide a free gift. All the experts also promote the giveaway. People need to opt-in to your list to have access to the other gifts. These work better when you weave a tight theme and topic around it. - Guest Posts:
To do this effectively, you’ll Google your niche (and or a topic you want to write about) and then check out the top 10 sites. See if they accept guest posts. If so, write one and submit it to them, following their guidelines of course! Write a compelling bio offering a free gift or checklist.
Be sure to respond to any comments left. My first guest post, 21 Habits of Happy People, landed me 750 opt-ins within 3 days. These results are not typical – but are possible. On average, you’ll get about 100 leads in a weeks’ time, and leads continue to come in for years to come.
All three of these ways build your list as well as your expertise and credibility. If you notice there’s one core link – it’s all about collaborating with other experts in your field!
