When it comes to your business success, how often do you rely on your intuition?
If you are like a lot of heart-based entrepreneurs, you pride yourself on being intuitive, however, it’s hard for you to trust your intuition when it comes to your business. You listen to (and do) what you mentors say to do, and do not understand why you are not successful.
You have ideas that you are afraid to try because they do not align with the strategies that the experts layout.
You have ideas that you do not act on because you see other people doing the same thing and do not believe you have any value to add.
Bottom line is that you are trying to logically fit together pieces of the puzzle for your business success. You want to see the complete picture and know-how all the parts work together before you even begin. You want to make the right decision for your business.

However, if you have not strengthened this muscle, it is easy for it to be overpowered by outside sources. Unless you have outrageous confidence, you begin questioning your every move and strategy. You begin trying to solve problems that you don’t even have, you procrastinate. or you begin a new program that guarantees your success.
Insight is not a light bulb that goes off inside our heads.

4 Steps to strengthen your intuition for business success:
- Practice meditation
To meditate, you do not need to sit there chanting ohmmm for hours. It’s fine if you want to, but it’s not a necessity. Meditation is simply taking the time to listen to the quiet voice of your soul. One of the simplest forms of meditation is to breathe in 1,2,3,4 then breathe out 1,2,3,4. Allow the thoughts to come and go. Do not judge. You can practice this for one or two minutes several times a day, or once a day. The more often you get quiet, the louder you will hear the voice of your soul, which is your intuition. Simply ask your soul to reveal your next action steps. - Be mindful
Several times during your day, take a moment to breathe and check-in with the present moment. Do this by being present with your five senses. What do you see? What do you hear? What are you touching? What are you smelling? What are you tasting? Now that you are in the present moment, ask yourself, am I enjoying doing what it is I am doing right now, or do I feel like doing something else? You can also ask, are my present activities, leading me to business success? - Be inquisitive
Check-in with how your body feels in different situations. This may take some practice if you have not tuned with the natural sensations of your body. Stand up, and state your idea or question out loud. For example, “I am going to do a webinar.” How does it feel in your entire body? How did it feel to voice it out loud? If it felt yucky, this is not your truth, and it’s not the right decision for you at this moment. If it feels peaceful, fun or exciting, that is your intuition superpower saying go for it! - Build Proof
Get a small notebook and start keeping track of what happens when you trust your gut. They are proof that your intuition is your superpower to business success. For example, perhaps you had set aside a day to find a venue for an event your planning and felt inspired to clean your house. Later, an old friend calls you out of the blue and mentions a venue that you never heard of that is perfect for your event. Following your intuition often leads to a simpler, easier path.
The only real valuable thing is intuition.
~ Albert Einstein
